Ten Angelina County Drug-Free All Stars were recently presented with scholarships to help with their continuing education.

Who Are The Drug-Free All Stars?

The Drug-Free All Stars of Angelina County, funded by a grant from TxDOT, are high school seniors in Angelina County who serve as role models in the community throughout the year.

These students from various high schools in the county share their drug prevention messages through social media, press conferences, videos, school presentations, and more.

Scholarship Winners

Ten outstanding Drug-Free All Stars were selected for their commitment to promoting a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle to their community and their involvement in the program throughout the year.

The ten Drug-Free All Stars selected to receive a scholarship are:

  • Grant Ashby - Lufkin
  • Rachel Bonnin - Lufkin

  • Sariah Cruz - Pineywoods Community Academy
  • Shadye Forrest - Pineywoods Community Academy
  • Macy True - Pineywoods Community Academy
