
11 Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County April 26 – May 2
In this week's arrests, the Nacogdoches County Jail is housing one for murder. Bond for Emar'ian Nikhy Trezmin Jones, 23, of Nacogdoches has been set at $1 million.
According to the Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel, he is accused of stabbing family member Sirveorge Deron Jones, 40, multiple times. A family argument occurred on Thursday, May 1, 2025, around 10:45 PM.
Police got a call that an individual was in the roadway and bleeding heavily in the 2200 block of Maybell Street in southeast Nacogdoches. Jones no longer had a pulse and was not breathing when police arrived.

He was pronounced dead at the hospital, and Emar'ian Jones admitted to stabbing the victim multiple times. A Nacogdoches County grand jury is expected to hear the case soon.
Third Unrelated Nacogdoches Murder In 2025
Though the general public has not been in danger so far, the murder rate for 2025 in Nacogdoches is steadily coming in at almost one per month. Two of the murderers are already behind bars, but officers are still looking for someone in connection with the case of 19-year-old Jeremiah Jarmma Warren.
He was found shot in a wooded area behind Summit Living Orton Hill Apartment Homes, formerly known as Eastewood Terrace. This was the first murder on the southeast side of Nacogdoches this year.
