Texas Entrepreneurs Who Have Won Big on Shark Tank
(Texas) There are some truly inspiring, hard-working, and smart entrepreneurs in Texas. They grind it out every day to grow successful businesses.
Why Entrepreneurs Turn to Shark Tank
With every business, the owner wants more, and they want the business to expand, and that often takes funding, which they may not have access to. They turn to others for investment to help them along the way. Some turn to the sharks of ABC's Shark Tank to expose their products to America in hopes of scoring a deal with a shark or multiple sharks to help them get to that next level.

Shark Tank by the Numbers
Shark Tank has been on for 17 seasons, debuting in 2009. The show has encouraged business owners to dream big. So far, the sharks have invested over $220 million in businesses during the first 16 seasons and have seen over 900 pitches for investment. (Google AI)
Why the Show Resonates With Viewers
This show has become a favorite for my wife and me to watch on Wednesday nights. Seeing all of the product creations that are making money right now is quite impressive. Some are fantastic, and others are, well, leaving us scratching our heads in wonderment.
Many Texas Entrepreneurs Have Been Featured on the Show
It's great to see these entrepreneurs pitch their products, but it's even better when you see a local entrepreneur pitch his product and get a deal! That's what happened to Jacksonville's Keith Lindsey when he was on the show in 2023, pitching his product 'The Krapp Strapp'. He ultimately received a deal with sharks Daymond John and Lori Greiner.

In 2025, we witnessed a Houston entrepreneur secure a deal with Robert Hejavec for his business Dig World. There are now plans to open franchises of this unique playground with big construction equipment in the Dallas area and beyond.
