Jani Lane Died from Alcohol Poisoning
The Los Angeles County coroner's office has determined that former Warrant frontman Jani Lane died of alcohol poisoning.
Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter told E! News that Lane suffered acute ethanol poisoning. He was found dead at an LA hotel in August at age 47.
Reports after he died said that a half-empty bottle of vodka plus prescription medication, were found in the hotel room. Lane was arrested twice for DUI in recent years.
