Just yesterday, Kiersey Clemons popped up in the trailer for the upcoming Flatliners remake. And while that movie looked a bit questionable (as our Editor-in-Chief so wisely stated on Twitter, it appears to be for exactly no one), she’s got a generally strong track record. She was a clutch bit player in Dope, spun that into another scene-stealing role in Neighbors 2, and followed her Dope director Rick Famuyiwa to DC’s The Flash solo film. Though Famuyiwa ultimately walked away from the production, Clemons has remained onboard, and now it looks like that role has brought her all the way to London.

That’s where Clemons went to shoot a cameo appearance for the upcoming Justice League, the actress revealed in a recent interview with Modeliste Magazine. She’ll pop up in the blockbuster-to-be when it premieres on November 17, and give audiences an introduction to her character Iris West prior to The Flash solo film. (That’s due in 2020, though DC has yet to wrangle a director to replace Famuyiwa.) In the original comics, Iris West was the love interest of Barry Allen, a.k.a. The Flash. It has yet to be revealed whether Clemons’ character will play a similar role for the newly christened Flash, played by Ezra Miller.

But this represents the latest feather in Clemons’ cap, padding a resume that also includes major upcoming projects such as Marc Webb’s The Only Living Boy in New York. Clemons’ is a face we should get used to seeing, and with such a cutting, humorous onscreen presence, I’m not complaining.
