Yes, that is a bag of pinecones. Now, go with me on this one...Pinecones LITERALLY grow on trees around here. They're all over the place. Then, when they fall to the ground, they're nuisances to people who are trying to keep their yards looking pristine. They can actually be an even bigger nuisance for the parents trying to keep their kids from throwing them at each other.
To the people that decided to bag these and sell them: Good for you on finding a way to make a little extra cash on "natural decorations". I never would have thought of trying to make a profit on them. I don't know what you're charging, but anything over a quarter per pinecone sounds like a win to me.
To the people that are here in Deep East Texas BUYING them: Why would you pay for these??? It doesn't take that much to pick them up yourself. You could get them for free! And if your argument is that they're scented...I'm willing to bet that you could get a bottle of fragrance even cheaper than the bagged pinecones are. From there, you can make them whatever scent you want!
But, what do I know...?
