Mark’s Top Ten Lists: Movies
Now that I've gotten the chance to slow down a bit, I've started doing some more thinking...I know, scary stuff, right? Anyway, I was thinking about some of my favorite things. You know, restaurants, vacation spots, music, things like that. From there, I decided to start writing them down.
So, on today's thoughts, I was going through my favorite movies. This is what I came up with, and this list is not necessarily ranked in order of my favorites:
- 1
Sahara
Because, hey, who can go wrong with Texas' very own Matthew McConaughey?
- 2
Smokey and the Bandit
Always, ALWAYS good for a laugh. Definitely a classic, and definitely on the list of favorites.
- 3
Pirates of the Caribbean
The original 'Curse of the Black Pearl' has to make the list. 'At World's End' is a close runner-up, but it's not the original.
- 4
Space Jam
C'mon, you knew it was coming. Michael Jordan teams up with the Looney Tunes. Classic.
- 5
The Fast and the Furious
This one is similar to Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm a fan of the ENTIRE series, but the original is still pretty great and could stand alone if needed.
- 6
Remember the Titans
One of my favorites of all time, and will ALWAYS be on my list. Such a good story, and one heck of a cast, too.
- 7
Coach Carter
Another great sports movie with another great story. And, once again, another pretty great cast.
- 8
Gladiator
This one earns the title of my favorite Russell Crowe movie. It's intense, and awesome. "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!" Yes sir, I am.
- 9
A Time To Kill
Yes, another Matthew McConaughey film. Yes, another Samuel L. Jackson film. And yes, another great story.
- 10
Armageddon
This is one I could watch over and over again. This movie has it all. Action, drama, laughter, you name it.
