Massive Machines Reduce Lufkin McDonald’s to Rubble

The KICKS 105 studios are located right across the street from the Timberland/South First Street location of McDonald's, and as I stepped outside Thursday morning and peered to the north, it looked like a couple of Transformers were attacking the eatery.  

McDonald's #1, as it's referred to in Lufkin, is undergoing a major face lift, and I do mean major.  Every inch of the establishment and parking lot are being razed.  I'm not sure of the timetable to have the new restaurant up and running, but judging by the work that has been done in just the past few days, somebody must be getting a bonus if a short turnaround is reached.
