Meet the Jacks is Now Officially on the Calendar

It's hard to believe that plans are already being made for football season, but here we are. Specifically, I'm talking about plans for the SFA Lumberjack football season. They're going to kick off this season with an awesome, community-centered event.

Meet the Jacks Family Fan Fest is Set for Saturday, August 15th

From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 15th, SFA fans are going to have the chance to attend Meet the Jacks. Now, this is something that's not new for SFA. There have always been Meet the Jacks events for all different sports. However, this year there's going to be a lot of extra activities that go with the event.

SFA Athletics has teamed up with the Fredonia Rotary to put on an morning full of lots of community fun. According to the SFA Jacks website there will be "inflatables, competitions, opportunities to meet the football team, and more." They want the fans to wear their SFA colors and bring entire families out to participate in the fun as they celebrate the start of football season.

100 More Reasons to Celebrate this SFA Football Season

This season isn't just another regular season of college football in Nacogdoches. This will be the 100th season of SFA football. If that's not a great reason to celebrate, I don't know what is.

As a reminder, Meet the Jacks will take place at Homer Bryce Stadium on the SFA campus on Saturday, August 15th from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Get ready for another awesome season for the purple and white! Axe 'em Jacks!
