NEDCO Is Hosting Nacogdoches Job Fair This Month

We've all seen the posts come across our newsfeed - "Who's Hiring?" or "In Search of a Job", right next to the other posts of "No one is hiring around here...". Well, the Nacogdoches Economic Development Corporation, or NEDCO, has partnered with Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas, and together they're proving that companies around here ARE hiring.

Job Fair in Nacogdoches

Thursday, February 19th, NEDCO is hosting the Nacogdoches Job Fair at the C.L. Simon Recreation Center Gymnasium, located at 1112 North Street in Nacogdoches. It kicks off at 10:00 AM that morning and goes until 1:00 PM that afternoon.

There will be major employers from across Deep East Texas, including employers from the healthcare industry, city services, manufacturing, and more. What's more is that the employers will be looking to hire people for full-time and part-time positions, so if you're needing a full-time paying job, or just need a part-time job to help with the bills and things, there will be options.

Important Things to Know About the Job Fair

This is a completely free event, open to the public. You don't have to register beforehand or anything like that. You can just show up!

They do encourage you to dress like you would for an in-person interview because...Well, the actual interview could take place at the job fair. Some of the employers on-site might be willing to conduct an interview right then! And, since you want to start off on the right foot, you should probably show them that you are serious about getting a job. In addition to that, you are also encouraged to bring multiple copies of your resume so that the employers can review them as needed.
