Pine Creek Senior Village Construction Moving Along in Nacogdoches

For several months now there's been a lot of construction on Highway 21 East, just outside the loop in Nacogdoches. For a long time, I wasn't sure what was going into the spot, but now the new signage has confirmed what's coming.

Pine Creek Senior Village is Coming Soon to Nacogdoches

According to the sign posted on the construction fencing, the new construction is Pine Creek Senior Village. This is apparently the newest senior living community that's coming to Nacogdoches.

This was the sign that caught my eye:

As of right now, the PineCreekSeniorVillage.org website on the sign is active, but it doesn't give any projected opening dates. It just promises, "Launching Soon" and gives a form that you can fill out for more information.

Just based on the construction that can be observed from the road, it doesn't look like an official opening date will be very far away. Take a look for yourself:

Yes, I realize that there's still a long way to go before this is complete. However, what that picture doesn't show is that there are already lights hooked up and working in the corridors that you can see as you drive by, the AC units have already been placed, and more.

Now, be sure and take all of this with a grain of salt, because I haven't seen the inside. I don't know how far along the interior work is. I can only tell you what I've seen from the outside. However, the outside looks like it's coming along quickly.
