4th Annual Pinetop Pickleball Tournament is October 2nd-4th

I don't know what exactly spurred on the pickleball craze all over the place, but I know that it's still going pretty strong. So much so, that there are several places around Deep East Texas to gather and play, and there are even a few leagues that are active. If you're one of those pickleball fans, you might want to know that there's a tournament coming to Nacogdoches soon, and it's for a good cause.

The 4th Annual Pinetop Pickleball Tournament is October 2nd-4th

For the past three years, there has been a pickleball tournament held in Nacogdoches called the Pinetop Pickleball Tournament. It has now been confirmed, via an event page on Facebook, that it will be returning for a fourth year to Maroney Park, landing on October 2nd through October 4th.

The Pinetop Pickleball Tournament is hosted by the Christian Women's Job Corp of Nacogdoches and is a great way to raise money to continue programs like the Employment Readiness Program and the GED Program, which benefit the women of Nacogdoches, and are free programs.

Yes, the biggest deal of the tournament is the pickleball competition - and it still is, obviously. However, if you just want to support the cause, there are other options as well, including food trucks, raffles, vendors and more.
