Road Work Set Today for Busy Areas in Lufkin

The Texas Department of Transportation will have crews doing road work today in Lufkin in highly traveled areas.

The right turn lane on SH 94 at the State Loop 287 southbound feeder ramp in Lufkin will be closed today as crews work to level up the pavement. This is a busy area. Reduce speed, choose an alternate route and respect the work zone traffic control in place.

Also, crews are scheduled to begin a mill and inlay project on US 69 North in Angelina County today. Lane closures should be expected and traffic could be slow during peak travel hours.
