Sleep's touring efforts have increased in recent years as they preach the power of riffs to the Earth and its inhabitants. They'll be embarking on a headlining run in late May, bringing the sludge rock duo Big Business with them.

The trek will span from May 27 through June 18 as Sleep continue to support last year's album, The Sciences. The record came as a surprise release on April 20, the informal stoner "holiday," marking the first new record from the group since issuing Jerusalem in 1998 (which was later rebranded as Dopesmoker in 2003 and packed as an elongated standalone hour-plus track alongside a live version of "Sonic Titan").

Meanwhile, Big Business will release their sixth album, The Beast You Are, on April 12. Sludge fans will recognize the band's two members, Jared Warren and Coady Willis, as former members of the Melvins. They were part of the band from 2006 through 2016.
