People Really Want a Slipknot + Eminem Collaboration
It's no secret that Corey Taylor wants to collaborate with rapper Eminem. In a 2016 interview with Sweden’s RockSverige, the Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman commended Em on his abilities as an artist.
"I would love to trade some stuff back and forth with him, because I love the way he writes and the way he flows and the attitude; you know, the emotion that’s in it," he said. "I’m very, very attracted to that, and I would love to do something where we kind of go back and forth. Will it ever happen? Probably not. But, you know, it’s still a dream.”
Yesterday (Aug. 6), Taylor quoted an official UberFacts tweet that said, "Eminem doesn’t really look like Eminem anymore and his fans don’t know what to think!" He replied, "This is because most people are fucking stupid."
A fan later tweeted him asking him if he still wants to collaborate with the rapper. "I’m fucking DYING to," he responded, along with tagging Eminem's handle.
Fans responded in droves to the tweet in hopes that the two will eventually work together:
