The annual Angelina Beautiful/Clean tree seedling giveaway commemorating Arbor Day is coming up Friday, March 1st.

On Saturday, September 10th, you can get rid of your old televisions, computer parts, and tires at the Lufkin Recycling Center at no cost.

Angelina Beautiful Clean is participating in the national Great American Cleanup this week, and has another Shred Day Event today. You can recycle your paper items and have your identity protected at the same time. And if you miss your chance to drop off your unwanted paper today, you'll have another chance tomorrow as the 3-day event continues.

Not only is Saturday, September 8, but it is also recognized for being "Tire and Electronics Collection Day".  Kind of like trash pick-up, except you go to them. The City of Lufkin and Angelina/Beautiful Clean invite you to the City of Lufkin Solid Waste Regional Recycling Center, located at 500 Southpark Drive,  between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Angelina Beautiful/Clean is doing its part to make sure kids have school supplies as they head back to class. And in this case it doesn't go directly to students, but instead it's a stockpile of supplies for teachers.
