The Texas Renaissance Festival happens every fall outside of Houston, and Texans aren't the only ones who look forward to it.  It's #1 in a new nationwide poll.

Austin is a good fit for many things, including live music, burritos, and flip flops.  Now it's becoming known as a great place to host the X Games, and ESPN has announced the dates that Austin will host next summer.

Texas knows how to throw a festival that centers on food! We've got the Tomato Fest in Jacksonville, the Blueberry Festival in Nacogdoches, and this weekend it's all about watermelon in Center. If you don't mind the hour's drive, you'll be able to sample some watermelon, hear live music, ride carnival rides, and benefit a bunch of East Texas non-profits.

Nacogdoches grew by almost 20,000 people over the weekend when the Texas Blueberry Festival took over downtown.
