There's lots of buzz going on here in East Texas and it has nothing to do with bees.  Come closer and I'll let you in on one of the biggest events coming to Lufkin on Saturday, June 22.

If you happened to be hangin' out by the television on Sunday night ( May 26) at 9 p.m., and while channel surfing you came across  the Food Network's 'Restaurant Impossible,' the landscape may have looked familiar.

There's a new self defense course uprising throughout our Country, and in years past, this included a karate education.

Keep a watchful eye these days on where you live.  Don't want to scare anyone, but you may want to put caution to the wind and burn the front and rear porch light at night, at least until the serial burglaries in Lufkin can be resolved.

The attitude was all out  "war" with the battle front on both sides standing firm in their beliefs.  Large, but peaceful demonstrations, with each faction promoting their agenda on different days. No violence, no weapons, and to the best of my knowledge, no arrests.  Nothing wrong there!

Stay put!  I have breaking news designed to floor the most eccentric Classic Rocker!  Ready? Gilligan, The Skipper, The Professor, Mary-Ann, Ginger, and Mr. & Mrs. Howell; they have all been rescued!  Hang on, we can't really find them, but we did find their boat, the S.S. Minnow.  I kid you not!
