‘Great Kid Escape’ Event Coming to Lufkin Convention Center on June 22

There's lots of buzz going on here in East Texas and it has nothing to do with bees.  Come closer and I'll let you in on one of the biggest events coming to Lufkin on Saturday, June 22.

Doors are open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and tickets are just $5 ($10 at the door) in advance at all East Texas Professional Credit Unions in Lufkin and Nacogdoches (936-634-2292, extension 1340).  Kids aged three and under are free.

Oh, it's called "The Great Kid Escape" (oops...let the secret out of the bag) and it promises to rock the house classic rockers.

Presented by Club Tabby and sponsored by The Pool Store, have the children and grandchildren lined up to see “Emma” from the Disney Channel’s hit TV show “Jessie”.  A real fan favorite of the youngsters, Emma will be signing autographs and taking photos!

Plus, how do you think the children will feel holding a real, honest to goodness baby alligator, with its mouth taped shut of course.  Makes you want to say "ahhh"....
