Ross Walker thought he was going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland to casually check out some Jimi Hendrix memorabilia.

But he was the one that got all the attention.

The Hall had been keeping count, and Ross was the ten millionth person to visit.  He ended up getting a huge surprise when he bought a ticket, with a balloon drop, tickets to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony April 18th, and a prize package valued at about four thousand bucks that included a new guitar and headphones.  Even the mayor was on hand to read a proclamation congratulating Ross on his lucky visit. He's 27, from New York City, and took a bus to Cleveland for the day

Have you ever been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?  I went in 2003 and remember Michael Jackson's glove and handwritten lyrics by Paul McCartney as a couple of highlights. Maybe I was the eight millionth visitor.

Coming up at the induction ceremony April 18th, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Lou Reed, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, and Ringo Starr are among the artists who will get the honor and officially enter the Hall of Fame.  It tapes in April, and we'll have to wait until the end of May to watch it on HBO.  But not Ross!  He'll be there front and center.
