Every year, many Deep East Texans look forward to the Texas Blueberry Festival in Downtown Nacogdoches. It's an awesome time for vendors, events, snack, and community fun around Nac.

Texas Blueberry Festival is Saturday, June 13th

We are now officially less than a month away from Blueberry Festival once again. This year's Blueberry Festival, which is the 36th annual Texas Blueberry Festival, will take place on Saturday, June 13th. It will start like it always does, with the Running of the Blueberries at 7:30 AM at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Then, the traditional blueberry pancake breakfast will begin at 8:00 AM at the intersection of Main St. and Pecan St.

All of the vendors, shops, attractions, etc. will open at 8:00 AM as well and will be open all day long. This year's attractions include a bounce park, blueberry pie and cupcake contests, arts and crafts, washer board tournament, live music throughout the downtown area, specials from local merchants, pie eating contests, and - of course - tons of blueberries.

Not only will you be able to purchase blueberries downtown during the festival, but there will be shuttles to take you to nearby farms where you can pick your own blueberries if you would like to.
