Texas Family Goes Viral With Christmas Light Display
The Hinojosa family is getting views by the millions for its synchronized light display. Can you imagine how much work goes into this? Wow!
The Hinojosas live in the Texas Hill Country, and they've synced 100,000 lights to different songs, including "Baby Shark" and "Bidi Bidi Bom Bom." It will be really hard to find a better home display than this one, and it's one more reason why we love Texas.
The videos are still spreading on social media it's drawn the attention of several TV stations including KENS 5 in San Antonio and CBS New York. This is the same family that went viral last year with it's Selena Christmas light show, and they've made a bigger splash this year, adding 40,000 new lights and several new songs.
We hear that sometimes the family is outside passing out candy canes and hot chocolate which is awesome, but with hundreds of cars lined up each night, it's probably not a good idea to stop and chat too long. In fact, taking the neighbors a nice Christmas care package full of noise-canceling headphones and blackout curtains might be a good idea. Would you even put up one Christmas light if you're the neighbors? Nope! Maybe a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
The light display runs nightly from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm at 140 Shadow Knolls in Boerne if you want to make the drive, and it will continue through January 6th.
And if you see a great Christmas light display around East Texas that should be featured, connect with me here on the website and send it in! Texas is lookin' good.
