Thought These Were Extinct? Turns Out, There’s One In Nacogdoches
If you thought the days of music downloads were over, think again. I was certain that with the use of streaming services, downloads would be things of the past. Then, I drove by a building in downtown Nacogdoches that made me realize that people still actually download music, and there are still physical locations to go to to make this happen.
If you drive down Main Street, just a bit up the hill from the intersection of Main Street and University Drive, you'll see a building with a sign on it that says, "Magic Music". Directly below that, it says, "Music Downloads & Free Sweepstakes".
Don't believe me? Here's the photo proof:
You might recognize the building as the previous location of Gamer's Hollow. You would be correct. However, it's now a place that you can go into and download music and - I assume from the sign - register to win prizes?
I haven't gone in myself, I've only driven by. If you look in the windows you'll see several rows of computers. So, it seems that they're prepared for lots of people to download music.
Again, I didn't even realize that these things still existed. Apparently, they do, as you can see. They've even got their own website: Lucky7Downloads.com.
If you've been in here, let us know what it's like. I'm legitimately curious. Feel free to drop any comments in the comment section below!
