If you have had the Covid-19 vaccination you can now remove your masks in some situations. Today the CDC has relaxed guidelines, making an about-face on their stance on masks in certain public places.

Now living in Deep East Texas, I would say during this entire epidemic it's been about 50/50 on the mask wearing, even before the vaccines started going out. Now certain people that have been fully vaccinated can just go out without a mask.

There are some exclusions for places we might have needed to wear masks at all along. Hospitals are a big one. Really any medical setting will require a mask, such as a doctor's office. Public transportation is another a big one.

Just as before, if you are in a private business and they ask you to put a mask on, you will have to comply or leave.

How will you be able to tell if someone is a COVID-vaccinated American? Well you can't, unless you ask to see your vaccination card. It could one day be like taking paperwork to initially register your kid for kindergarten everywhere you go. Someone shouting, " Papers please," may not be the world we want to live in.

Thankfully I've been really healthy during the pandemic, and I will be fully vaccinated in about a week. I am a little worried about taking my mask off and getting a virus of any kind after being so diligent.

Now there is a stomach bug going around, which sounds so benign and normal at this point. I think it just means that more people are fed up with wearing a mask.
