If you are looking to fill some time with free fun in East Texas, I found a great event to keep those kids entertained.  Valentines Day is a great time of year for kids to learn about this big forest we live in. Bring your kids to the Valentine's Day I-Spy on the trail. The trees at the museum will be all dressed up as woodland creatures for the holiday.

This is a come and go activity starting this Saturday February 6th and going though Valentines Day Sunday February 14th from 8am - 6pm daily. The trees will remain decorated to enjoy the entire week along the trail. This is a great activity for the kids, and it's free. That is a great combination for East Texas.

Even though the inside of the museum is closed due to Covid, the trail remains open to enjoy. It's great to have this trail right here in town to enjoy.

There are even other activities to enjoy on the trail. There is a TFM kids Whimsical Woods Scavenger Hunt you can download and play, even when this event is over. CLICK HERE for their website to get started.
