If you've been on North Street in Nacogdoches today - or, actually, if you drove on it this weekend - you may have noticed that there was a significant difference in the amount of traffic. That's because it is Spring Break!

So, if you're still in the Nac area, and you're unsure of what to do on Spring Break, I've compiled a list of ideas to help you make it through the week.

You might remember that we did this last year, and you can still find those on my blog here. However, this is an all-new, updated list for 2018.

Day 1 - find a park.

There is no shortage of parks in Nacogdoches. There's Pecan Acres, just off of Austin Street, that has several activities with it. There's a disc golf course, a playground for the kids - or adults, no judgement here - a walking/jogging trail, a picnic area, and more.

Also, there is Pioneer Park, just off of South Street. This has several options for activities as well, including a disc golf course, playground, basketball court, picnic area, and even a life-size tank that you can climb on!

Then there's Maroney Park, right behind Nacogdoches High School. The big attraction for this one is the playground. The thing is built like a castle! It's definitely an attraction for all ages.

And these are just three of the parks around Nac. It doesn't matter which one you choose or prefer, but get outside to the park for Spring Break, Day 1! Check back here tomorrow for day two's ideas!
