East Texas Got Talent is Big Attraction at Texas State Forest Festival
Hey, how much talent do you have in your little pinky? Well, let's say it amounts to one-one thousandth of Ozzy Osborne (okay, bad example - because the guy can flat out not act), then there is still hope for you.
East Texas Got Talent, which mirrors its existence from that of America's Got Talent, is coming to where else - East Texas!
You are invited to strut your stuff on the big stage known as the 29th annual Texas State Forest Festival. The date for your "15 seconds of fame" is scheduled for Saturday, September 21 at 6 PM at the Lufkin Expo center.
The only thing you are required to do is upload a video of your talent skills here. Deadline is Tuesday, September 10. First prize is 500 big ones, the runner up gets a cool $250, and third place cops a C-Note.
Keep in mind, that the competition is open to not just singers and dancers. Comedians, contortionists, impressionists, jugglers, magicians, ventriloquists, and any combination thereof, are all urged to participate.
Additional inquiries can be had by calling the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce at 936.634.6644.
