Brendyn’s BBQ Prepares for Epic Birthday Bash #6

We're no strangers to Brendyn's BBQ around here. Brendyn and the crew are serving up Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ Joint goodness year-round, at all different kinds of events all around Nacogdoches and Deep East Texas. In June, they'll be celebrating their very own accomplishment.

Brendyn's BBQ Birthday Bash #6 is Happening June 6th

On Saturday, June 6th starting at 11:00 AM, Brendyn's BBQ will be celebrating their sixth anniversary as a brick-and-mortar location. Before that, it was all about finding a place to park the original trailer. For six years they've been settled into their permanent location on Main Street.

According to the Facebook event page, they're planning all sorts of giveaways, a special menu, collaborations and vendors. I don't know all the details of what's been put on the calendar, but if it's anything like the birthday celebrations they've thrown in the past, it's going to be awesome!

The Brendyn's BBQ Facebook page gives even more insight into what's in store. It teases free drawings that start at noon. They'll be giving away tons of stuff, from Turtleboxes, to Brendyn's BBQ merchandise, gift cards, turkeys, hams, and more! The specials in store include smoked oysters, beef ribs, tomahawk steaks, Asian duck boudin, and - here's where the collaboration talk comes into play - Prof's Pizza! There's even live music from Zach Maberry in the works.
