New Scam Targets East Texas Businesses Via Emails
ATTENTION, ALL EAST TEXAS AREA BUSINESSES:
Another scam around East Texas may compromise your bank account nearly 500 clams if you happen to let your guard down!
Here's how it works: Let's say your business is a Chamber of Commerce member, and you have your company listing on the annual city and county map. Your business may be targeted with an e-mail asking you to submit $499.50 for another full year subscription.
You think it's legit because the art work looks to be exactly the same that you originally submitted to the Chamber. But, it's actually a PDF File that was copied into the crook's message.
Avoid sending the loot if you receive a request from one "Tina Jones" @ (817) 819-5745.
