After stepping down as coach of the Longhorns, Mack Brown moved most of his Texas memorabilia to his home in North Carolina, not far from Charlotte.  Thankfully everyone was okay, but the home was completely destroyed by a fire last week.  Just two chimneys were left standing.

Coach Brown tweeted Tuesday, "Thx for your thoughts and prayers about the loss of our house. Tough deal, but thanks. Blessed everyone is fine and we are moving forward."  @ESPN_Coach Mack.

ESPN hired Coach Mack as an analyst, and you can see him breaking down college games on Saturdays.

Brown may have lost the support of some Longhorn fans toward the end of his time as a coach, but something tells us Texas fans are united in wishing the best for the coach and his family as they move on and rebuild.

The Longhorns host BYU this Saturday at 6:30.
