The Fredonia Brewery is always bringing in pretty cool events. Whether it's Pints on the Patio, or Trivia Night, or Comedy Tours, the brewery always has something going on. This weekend, there's a really cool event coming to the venue downtown, and it's to honor our veterans.

Saturday, starting at 2:00, the Fredonia Brewery is holding the Veterans Day Brew & Que. This is a chance to celebrate the veterans in the Nacogdoches and surrounding communities. There will be special, limited-edition glassware available for purchase in light of it being Veterans Day. Also, Brendyn's BBQ will be serving that day. And, guess what? Veterans can get a free pulled pork sandwich from the food truck while supplies last. Then, to top it off, there will be live music from Paul Shafer from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

While these things are obviously cool, they're also helping support an awesome cause. A portion of the proceeds from the day will be donated to the SFA Veterans Resource Center on campus.

So, if you didn't have plans for this Saturday, now you do. Make your way out to the Fredonia Brewery in downtown Nacogdoches from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM for Veterans Day Brew & Que! And, be sure to take the chance to thank a veteran. Not just on Veterans Day, but every chance you get.

The Veterans Day Brew & Que is sponsored by the SFA Veterans Resource Center and Pineywoods Psychological Services.
