The City of Lufkin Fire Department is giving out free COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots in Lufkin. They are available at your neighborhood fire station locations.

This week they have been giving them out from Station number 5 at 1408 Kurth Drive in Lufkin, Texas. Friday, November 5th, 2021 you can just walk up from 9 am to 4 pm.

You can just drive-thru or walk up to the shot clinic and no appointment is necessary. If this is your first shot you don't have to bring anything with you.

Booster Shots

If you are coming for a booster shot they recommend that you bring your vaccine card. This will help ensure that you are getting the correct booster at the right time.

If it has been at least six months since your last vaccine you are eligible for the booster. They have both Moderna and Johnson & Johnson boosters available at the stations.

The Lufkin Fire Department also will come to your home across the East Texas area if you are unable to come to the station. Just call 936-633-0376 to schedule a homebound vaccine or booster.

Other Vaccines

Now that the Pfizer vaccine has been approved for children ages 12-17 years old the Angelina County and Cities Health District are making them available.

You can sign up online with the Deep East Texas Partnership for the shot. Go to etxcovidvaccine.com or call 936.630.8500.
