Is Your Smart Phone Allowed On Vacation?

Of course we all take our phones with us when we travel, but should we use them to check in with work while relaxing on vacation in the Caribbean?  

Fifty-four percent of U.S. adults, according to a new survey by Harris Interactive, say bosses expect them to work during their vacations.  Two out of every three people say keeping up with email helps ease the return to work.  Exactly!  If we don't keep up with the onslaught of email while we're out, it will take us two hours to sift through it once we get back.  We're just being efficient.

Here's the real thing we all need to worry about.  It's not so much the boss.  It's the family!  Sixty-seven percent say family members get upset when they do work while on vacation.  And relaxing getaway with ticked off family members isn't relaxing at all!
