Lufkin Planned Parenthood Closes

It was two weeks ago that the closure was announced.  And now it's happening.

The Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast Chapter, which serves Houston, southeast Texas, and Louisiana, has to deal with budget cuts.  And that means Planned Parenthood chapters in Lufkin, Huntsville, and Bryan are shutting their doors.

The last day the Lufkin Planned Parenthood Clinic is seeing patients, is today.  After that they'll refer patients to the Houston clinic.

The Angelina County and Cities Health District says they'll help patients fill gaps in coverage, and find a new provider.
