Manzano’s Meat Market #2 is Officially Open in Lufkin

Think way back to December 22, 2025. I wrote up a post about Manzano's Meat Market coming to Lufkin. Since that time, not much has changed. The sign has been up, but the store itself hasn't opened. Well, that all changed today.

Manzano's Meat Market #2 is Now Open in Lufkin

When I was driving down Timberland this morning, as I passed by the former Brookshire Brothers location, I was surprised to see a full parking lot. I don't mean that there were a few cars parked out there. I mean the parking lot was FULL.

Apparently, they opened for the first time at 6:00 this morning, September 25th, according to a video posted to the Manzano's Meat Market Tik Tok.

Naturally, I had to go check it out. I even got some pictures of the new store. Check it out:

As you can see, they are open and ready for business. I'm not sure about the full hours of the store yet. I know that the video that I mentioned earlier said that they were open from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, at least on the grand opening day. I'm not sure if that will be the normal hours going forward.

If you're looking to find the new Manzano's location in Lufkin, it's at 816 North Timberland Drive, which is the old Brookshire Brothers address.

Like I mentioned before, this is a welcome addition to the city of Lufkin. It's been a long time in the making, but Manzano's Meat Market #2 has finally opened its doors!
