Christmas movies are on year-round. So, I can see where some of them would get old really quickly. However, if you wait until AT LEAST Thanksgiving to start watching Christmas movies, then you won't get burned out.

That's where this list comes in. I don't start watching Christmas movies until now, and this is the list of movies that stands strong year after year.

    Home Alone

This is one of my all-time favorites. The 8-year old kid outsmarts the two dumb crooks. Timeless.

Home Alone 2: Lost In New York

In my opinion, this one is every bit as good as the first one. Plus, the traps that Kevin rigs in this one seem even more entertaining.

    Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer

This one is an all-time favorite of mine. Recently, it's come under a lot of scrutiny. No matter, it's still a Christmas classic, and will still be played EVERY Christmas in the Cunningham household.

    A Charlie Brown Christmas

I'm a big fan of Peanuts. Snoopy, Woodstock, Charlie Brown, Schroeder, Linus, Lucy, etc. This movie is a no-brainer on the top list.

    The Santa Clause

Vintage Tim Allen, and always worth watching around the holidays. (And before anyone makes a big deal about it, yes, I realize that the picture is not from the movie itself.)
