Master Sergeant Paul J. Rick is from Dallas, TX. He joined the Army as an Infantryman in 1992 and attended basic training at FT Benning; GA. Master Sergeant Rick has held numerous leadership positions, which include Team Leader, Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant and First Sergeant.

His assignments include 1-5 CAV BN, 1st Calvary Division FT. Hood TX., 2-7 IN BN, 3rd Infantry Division FT. Stewart GA., 1-12 IN BN, 4th Infantry Division FT. Carson CO., and 1-28 IN BN, 1st Infantry Division FT. Riley KS. He also has served as an Observer Controller at FT. Leavenworth KS., and an Iraqi National Police Advisor in Baghdad, Iraq. His deployments include Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan, Operation Iraqi Freedom three times and Intrinsic Action, Kuwait twice.
