Queen has launched a contest seeking filmmakers and videographers to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1977 tune "Sheer Heart Attack" by creating a new video for the song.

The chosen clip will posted on Queen Online, as well as the band's official social networking websites.  The winning video maker also will receive $1,500 and lots of band-related swag.  The clip will be considered the first original Queen video since 1999's "Under Pressure."

Initial entries will be pared down to 100 finalists, and then Queen guitarist Brian May and drummer Roger Taylor will help pick the winner, along with guest judge David Mallet, who directed many of the band's classic videos.  "The song is a full on rocker and was a blast to play live, so myself and Brian are really looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with," says Taylor.
