Schlitterbahn Offers Free Admission to the Military and First Responders
Members of the military, police, EMS, and fire fighters have been sweating in uniforms all summer, and it's time for ya all to cool off! All Schlitterbahn Water Parks are letting you in free at different times this month, and we'll help you plan accordingly.
Schlitterbahn Water Parks have several great locations, and two of them are offering free admission to military members and first responders this week. The Galveston location is letting fire fighters, EMTs, police officers, and military members in free now as part of the American Heroes celebration. They'll be doing that in Galveston through the 27th. And the Corpus Christi location lets military and first responders in free through this Sunday, August 20th.
Next week, August 21st through 25th, the South Padre location will let first responders and military members in free. If you watch the eclipse from the slides on Monday you might be spared a sunburn, with the moon blocking the sun and all.
Schlitterbahn says the New Braunfels location will have free admission for these heroes from August 28th through September 1st.
You've got plenty of opportunities to ditch the hot uniforms and relax with family at some of the coolest water parks in Texas. Oh, and if you are planning to take the spouse and kids, Schlitterbahn will knock 50 percent off of their admission price.
Be sure you take your military ID or proof of employment to the waterpark ticket booths, and you'll be all set. The free admission for military members applies to active duty, retirees, veterans, reservists and Department of Defense.
Have fun!
