Last week, we did a story about the Nacogdoches Police Department's Sponsored Pet of the Week. Last week, the Pet of the Week was Mae, a little six-year-old chihuahua that was looking for a new home. If you don't remember, you can check out that pet of the week by clicking the link below:

Usually, the pets that are featured are dogs. However, this week is a bit different. This week, the NPD Sponsored Pet of the Week is a cat! This post from the Nacogdoches Police Department's Facebook page features Skeet, along with Sergeant Brett Ayres once again. Check it out:

Skeet is only six months old, and he's a short-haired Tabby. If you're looking to adopt him, and you think he'd be a good fit for you, then you can start the adoption process at the Humane Society of Nacogdoches County. Adoption times are in the afternoons from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

If you're looking for more information, you can get that at the shelter as well. The Humane Society of Nacogdoches County is located at 3211 Northwest Stallings Drive on the loop in Nacogdoches.

We'll keep you updated with more pets as they're posted online, and you can also keep up with them on the Nacogdoches Police Department's Facebook page.
