About 30 years ago in the building of another radio station, one my colleagues asked  for my opinion on then prez Jimmy Carter.  Knowing absolutely nothing about politics, I could hear my "Poli-Sci" teacher saying "...never discuss religion or politics at work".

Today, I know even fewer politics, that is to say, not qualified for any legiti or non-legitimate discussion.  Nevertheless, if you are a registered Lonestar state voter, you could possibly have a viewpoint regarding the VOTER ID Law,  which is currently under fire.

In its simplest terms, the VOTER ID Law stipulates voters to show photo identification in the polls.  The state claims the newly enacted legislation will curtail voter fraud.  The justice department along with a cache of other civic groups say the new rules violate the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
