The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is coming up on Tuesday, July 12th.  The biggest stars and best performers in baseball will gather in San Diego...and Brandon Belt could be representing East Texas.

The Hudson, Texas native did not make the list of National League All-Stars that was announced on Tuesday, July 5th, however, he did make it onto the ballot for the 'All-Star Final Vote'.  5 players were named onto this ballot and baseball fans get to vote to decide which one will get to be final person named onto the team.

Brandon Belt (San Francisco), Ryan Braun (Milwaukee), Starling Marte (Pittsburgh), Jake Lamb (Arizona), and Trevor Story (Colorado) make up the five finalists who are seeking to be voted in as the last player for the National League All-Star Team.  Voting continues until 3 p.m. Friday.

Belt has been keeping his batting average around .300 for the season and he leads the Giants in many offensive categories.  His on-base percentage is near .400 and is one of the best marks in the Majors.  This would be Belt's first All-Star Game appearance if he manages to be the top vote-getter.  So, please click the link below and vote as often as you can for Brandon.
