Monster Alligator Spotted At Sam Rayburn Boat Ramp! [PHOTOS]
Every now and then, when you're out and about on the lake, you see alligators. It's a fairly common thing. Something that's not so common, is seeing them on the boat ramp where boats launch.
Except for this one...
This monster gator was just hanging out right beside the boat ramp at Ralph McAllister Park in Etoile. Look at the size of this thing! It's massive!
See? I told you it was massive!
According to Mike Smith, a local fisherman that spends lots of time on Sam Rayburn, he was able to back his truck down the ramp, and the alligator stayed there the whole time.
To give you an idea of how close this thing really was to the boat ramp, here's a zoomed-out photo.
As you can see, he was actually camouflaged, and he was literally right at the boat ramp. I don't know about you, but I would've gotten pretty nervous, pretty quick. It's not everyday that you see an alligator on Rayburn, and it's definitely not everyday that you see one this close.
So, if you're heading out to the lake anytime soon, be sure to keep an eye out, because these guys are out there, too. And, of course, don't mess with them, go near them, take pets near them, etc.
