Nothing Bundt Cakes Expanding into Deep East Texas with a New Lufkin Location

For those of you Deep East Texas folks with a sweet tooth, you're about to get a new option in Lufkin. Specifically, for a new bakery that lots of people are familiar with.

Nothing Bundt Cakes Is Heading to Lufkin

The other day I was scrolling through Facebook when I came across a post from Coming Soon Texas about a new addition to the Lufkin area. According to the post, the new addition was a Nothing Bundt Cakes location coming to Lufkin.

I decided to do a little more digging - not because I think that Coming Soon Texas would be wrong, but I just wanted more information. That's when I found myself on the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation website, and sure enough, there's a project that was registered there on May 7th for Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Nothing Bundt Cakes Project Details

According to the TDLR website, the project is listed as a renovation/alteration at the 4415 South Medford Drive, but the facility listed is the Lufkin Mall. 4415 South Medford is actually located across the street from the mall, where The Roost is. Based on other Nothing Bundt Cake locations, it seems more fitting to be in the shopping center. The space being renovated is a 2,233 square-foot area and is scheduled to begin on June 15, 2026. It's scheduled to be completed by August 15, 2026.

Adding the national chain bakery is a very welcome addition to Lufkin. This would be the first Nothing Bundt Cake bakery in Deep East Texas. If you look on the Nothing Bundt Cake website, the closest locations to us are in Tyler, Longview and Conroe.
