Isn't college football bowl season the best? It's like two weeks straight of sitting in the recliner watching one football game after another.  With a Texas-sized bowl of chips and guac and a Shiner.  If we have nothing else to do.

Several Texas teams made bowl games, and we'll help you keep up with all of them here.

Bowl season starts December 19th with the Air Force Reserve Celebration Bowl.  There are no Texas teams in that one, but it's still a good excuse to hit the sports bars and play pool and eat fun food.

Baylor made the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando, and that's set for 4:30pm on December 29th against North Carolina on ESPN.

The Adocare V100 Texas Bowl in Houston will be played at NRG Stadium, and Texas Tech will take on LSU in that one, December 29th at 8pm on ESPN.

No Aggie fans will be working or getting anything big accomplished on the 30th.  Texas A&M plays in the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl in Nashville on the 30th at 7pm on ESPN against Louisville.

Houston has really quietly had a super season, and it culminates with the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl against Florida State at noon on New Year's Eve. It will be on ESPN 12/31 in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome.  The festive beverages will be flowing early that day.

TCU stays in Texas and plays in the Valero Alamo Bowl against the Oregon Ducks and their wild and crazy, every-changing uniforms.  Both teams have so many alternate uniforms, who knows what they'll be wearing! But they'll play football, we do know that.  This one is in San Antonio at the Alamodome, January 2nd at 6:45 p.m. on ESPN.

We already know we won't get much work done the last two weeks of the year, and now add these bowl games. It will be a couple of fun weeks!
