(from AC Press Release) On Wednesday, the Lady Roadrunners softball team re-wrote the Angelina College record book.  The program’s team record for home runs in a season lasted all of one year.

The Texas A&M Health Science Center (TAMHSC) College of Nursing and the Angelina College (AC) Associate Degree in Nursing Program (ADN) in Lufkin formalized a partnership today that will create new opportunities for East Texas nurses interested in advancing their nursing education. The collaboration will ultimately lead to better outcomes for patients across the state.

If you're itching to see a bit of live comedy this weekend, you're in luck! Angelina College is putting on live performances of the play, "Epic Proportions."

The Angelina College Aerospace Scholars have a connection to NASA now, and it's a kids' toy that has linked them. The students built a Mars Rover out of Lego's  as part of a competition at the National Community College Aerospace Scholars event at NASA's Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center recently. The Texas Rangers are on the road this weekend at Minnesota, and the Houston Astros are playing in Miami against the Marlins. Have you seen the way the Marlins have been introducing their players? They're accompanied by women dressed as Latino showgirls. You won't see that everywhere. But we digress. There's plenty of great softball and baseball to watch right here in East Texas this weekend.
