The Traveling Culinary School Is Bringing French Cooking Classes To Nacogdoches And Lufkin

How would you like to learn how to cook from a professional chef, in-person? How would you like to learn how to cook French cuisine food from that chef? Now, how would you like to do all of that, from right here in Deep East Texas? Well, that's about to happen, and you could actually do it.

The Traveling Culinary School is Coming to Nacogdoches AND Lufkin

Chef and Baker Justin Ward is a professional chef that was born in Nacogdoches, where he also graduated high school. According to his website, chefjustinward.com, he holds multiple certificates in various culinary fields. He's worked overseas in multiple culinary capacities in places like France and Romania. (I'm not doing his resume justice. To see all of his accolades, you'll have to check his website out yourself). In addition to all this he also leads The Traveling Culinary School, and it'll be in Nacogdoches from July 31st to August 12th, and in Lufkin on August 14th.

People wanting to attend the classes in Nacogdoches will be able to choose from things like "French Dining Experience", "Choux Pastry", "Knife Skills", and several others. Every course is a separate class on a separate day, and they vary in times as well as prices to attend. All the classes will be held at the SFA Kitchen Lab on campus.

People wanting to attend the class in Lufkin can attend a class on French Sauces. They will be learning how to make mayonnaise, vinaigrette, Hollandaise/Bernaise sauce and more. That single class will be held on Friday, August 14th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Grand on First.
