Congratulations to the Lufkin Little League Team on a Great Season!

The Lufkin Little League All-Stars fell one win shy of a trip to Williamsport and the Little League World Series.

But overall, it was a magical season and the 11 and 12-year olds should be very proud, and will probably have some brand new popularity when they head back to school this fall.

The Lufkin Little League team lost 9-0 to San Antonio Thursday night at the Southwest Regional championship in Waco, and that sends San Antonio to the Little League World Series. But, with the title of Southwest runners-up and some big wins along the way, it was a successful first season in the league for the Lufkin guys.
