Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the strict guidelines that it's had, malls across the nation have been affected. Our very own Lufkin Mall is no exception to this. However, today they made an announcement via Facebook that shows that they are beginning the process of opening up, and getting back to a somewhat more normal schedule. This was the post from the Lufkin Mall Facebook page earlier today:

So, as you can see, the individual stores will be opening based on what their corporate directives allow. Also, as of right now, businesses like nail salons and barber shops will remain closed until a later date.

The Lufkin mall will be open Monday through Sunday, from noon until 7:00 PM.

If you're planning on going to the mall, keep in mind that they are only allowing a 25% capacity rate, in accordance with Governor Abbott's announcement from earlier this week that retail stores and restaurants could begin slowly opening up again. Also, keep in mind that you have to maintain social distancing while out and about.
