In my opinion, you're not going to find a better cookie than an Oreo. Sure, you can make the argument that a homemade chocolate chip cookie is better...But you'd be wrong. Oreos are just good. You could say that I'm a fan...

Anyway, I didn't even know until this morning that there is a National Oreo Cookie Day. No, seriously, it's a thing. Just check out the National Day Calendar! National Oreo Cookie Day is March 6th.

How to Celebrate National Oreo Day

Come on, do I really need to lay it out for you? Rip open that bag and chow down! You can eat the cookie as is, you can pull it apart to get to the cream first, you can crush it up to put it in ice cream. I mean, the possibilities are endless.

My personal favorite is to just get a glass of ice-cold milk and dunk the cookies in it. It doesn't get much better than that.

Different Flavors are Alright, Too

There are so many different flavors of Oreo, it seems like there really is something for EVERYONE. If you're one of the people that likes all the exotic flavors, that's alright. An Oreo is an Oreo. Personally, I just prefer the original Oreo. I'm talking about the original, regular-size, black and white cookie sandwich. I'm not even a fan of Double Stuf. But that's alright. As long as you're celebrating, go for whatever you want!

So, now you know: There is such thing as National Oreo Day. I hope that you're as excited to find that out as I was. Now, go tell your friends, your family, your neighbors, your coworkers, the dude you pass by in the grocery store, EVERYBODY. Then, get ready, because National Oreo Cookie Day is March 6th!

Take a Tour of Susu's Popcorn & Candy Cafe in Downtown Nacogdoches

Susu's is a one-of-a-kind snack shop on the brick streets of Nacogdoches. I know that seeing someone else's pictures isn't the same as seeing the actual thing in person, but hopefully you get just a taste - Get it? Because it's a SNACK SHOP. It's alright, you can laugh there... - of what Susu's is like.
